About the Role

Cognizant is currently seeking applications from Graduate Engineers for our Graduate Programme in 2025 based in Cork.

We are especially interested in receiving applications from final year students completing their studies in:

• Electrical Engineering / Electronic & Electrical Engineering
• Automation and Process Control
• Computer Systems Engineering / Software Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering
• Business Information Systems / Information Technology
• Electronic Systems / Computer Science
• Process and Chemical Engineering
• Chemical and Biopharmaceutical Engineering
• Applied Physics and Instrumentation
• Process Plant & Technology
• Biomedical Engineering

Successful candidates will be part of the Global Graduate Program. This Program is an intensive 8-week Training Program that consists of classroom training, workshops, theory, practical training, and a Simulation Project.

Requirements

Completed degree (Level 8) in one of the areas listed above.

Interest in Automation and the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Strong oral and written communication skills are required, with proven ability to communicate and build relationships cross-functionally.

Be self-motivated and develop an understanding of the business.

Experience of working in a pharmaceutical API manufacturing operation or a regulated environment is desirable.
