Job Title: Project Manager – Fit-Out & Construction (Project-Based)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager (Fit-Out & Construction) to oversee and manage multiple interior fit-out projects across luxury retail, restaurant, and corporate environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Civil, MEP, and Electrical works, combined with hands-on experience in authority submissions, documentation, and project coordination from design to completion.

The role requires deep understanding of Dubai Mall regulations, UAE authority approval processes, and excellent vendor and contractor coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end fit-out projects including luxury fashion stores, restaurants, and office spaces (from shell & core to completion).
• Review and interpret technical drawings, MEP layouts, electrical schematics, and architectural plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and validate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), project cost estimates, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate and obtain approvals from relevant authorities (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, EMAAR, Trakhees, etc.).
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery within approved cost and quality standards.
• Supervise on-site activities, including subcontractor performance, safety compliance, and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with designers and consultants on 3D CAD drawings, design intent, and technical detailing.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure documentation completeness for handovers, including as-built drawings, operation manuals, and approval certificates.
• Coordinate with the procurement and finance teams on vendor payments, material orders, and project-related expenses.
• Manage lighting, HVAC, and electrical coordination to ensure design consistency and functionality.
• Prepare and present weekly project progress reports to management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth technical knowledge of Civil, MEP, and Electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of fit-out execution, sequencing, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of authority approval processes (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, DEWA, EMAAR, etc.).
• Strong vendor, consultant, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD / 3D CAD; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret and coordinate technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong project reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Understanding of lighting design and installation standards.
• Familiarity with luxury brand standards and high-end retail finishes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management for fit-out and interior projects in the UAE.
• Proven experience with luxury retail, restaurants, and office projects.
• Must have handled Dubai Mall or other major retail developments projects.
• On own visa (freelance or dependent).
• PMP certification or equivalent - mandatory
