Scrum Master

We're looking for a capable consultant to join our client's dynamic team, where innovation meets public service. Our client is dedicated to transforming administrative and digital processes, ensuring a more efficient execution of penalties while minimizing the administrative burden across various partners involved in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities And Key Tasks

In this role, you'll actively support numerous agile teams in applying Scrum methodologies, fostering efficient and autonomous work practices. Key responsibilities include:

• Facilitating the Scrum process by guiding teams in their rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Managing impediments to ensure smooth progress and assisting team members in finding pragmatic solutions to obstacles.
• Strengthening team cohesion and communication while fostering an environment of transparency and collaboration.
• Assisting the Product Owner in managing and refining the product backlog while maintaining a focus on value creation.
• Promoting an agile mindset and participating in agile practices within the organization.
  
  
  

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The perfect candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree and possess up to 5 years of experience in agile environments, ideally as a Scrum Master. You should be well-versed in Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban and have basic knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and Azure DevOps. The role requires fluency in Dutch, with a good command of English and French. Key attributes include:

• Strong communication skills, combined with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
• A willingness to learn and a team-oriented mindset.
• Experience within public sector environments is considered a plus, but not a requirement.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• 0 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in an agile team setting.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Basic understanding of collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps).
• Fluency in Dutch, English, and a good knowledge of French.
• Full-time availability.
