We are looking for an Automated System Architect who can design, integrate, and validate complex
systems that combine hardware, embedded software, and cloud components. The ideal candidate
understands both architecture and hands-on testing, ensuring robust and scalable products.
Responsibilities:
- Define and document system architecture across hardware, embedded software, and
cloud/integration layers.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and interface definitions.
- Support hardware schematic design, PCB reviews, simulations, and prototype evaluations.
- Perform or guide hardware testing: electrical verification, thermal characterization, debug,
validation of prototypes, and compliance checks.
- Design software/integration architecture (APIs, communication protocols, microservices where
relevant).
- Support CI/CD, DevOps practices, automation, and integration workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HW, SW, QA, testing, manufacturing).
- Contribute to automated validation setups, including Robot Framework.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar.
- 5+ years in system engineering, architecture, embedded systems, or electronics.
- Strong understanding of both hardware and software architecture.
- Experience with schematic design, PCB fundamentals, and hardware testing/validation.
- Software skills: Python / C / C++, REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes.
- Experience with test automation tools (incl. Robot Framework).
- Travelling to different project sites;
- Interaction with cross-functional engineering teams in the company;
- Take ownership of critical design issues;
- Working on multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent communication & problem-solving abilities.
