Scrum Master

Responsibilities

Kforce's client in Houston, TX is actively hiring for a Scrum Master with special emphasis in AI-enabled delivery. Key Responsibilities:

• Create simple, low-effort AI helpers that automate repetitive preparation tasks such as standup summaries, backlog clarity checks, refinement preparation, risk surfacing, and dependency signals
• Apply AI to improve meeting readiness, reduce manual coordination effort, and help the team stay aligned
• Continuously identify opportunities where lightweight automation can remove friction and strengthen delivery flow
• AI-Augmented Delivery Operations
• Backlog Refinement Support (CDF-Aligned)
• AI-Driven Risk Management
• Flow Optimization and Predictability
• Cross-Team Coordination
• Security and Delivery Risk Awareness
• AI-Assisted Governance and Reporting

Requirements

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead
• 3-5+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, or a DevSecOps role
• Deep understanding of secure development practices and frameworks (OWASP Top 10, NIST, etc.)
• Experience with static and dynamic scanning tools (e.g., Fortify, Veracode, Checkmarx, Burp Suite)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
• Strong knowledge of data protection techniques (masking, encryption, RBAC, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM), API security, and cloud-native platforms (Azure preferred)
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for boards, sprints, and delivery flow
• Experience using AI tools (Copilot, M365-based AI, workflows, or automation platforms)
• Excellent collaboration skills across cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Data, Infra, Enterprise Security)
• Ability to interpret data and AI insights to support better team decision-making
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, or Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) security (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates)
• Background in regulated industries or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, PCI-DSS)
• Experience building simple workflows in Copilot Studio, M365, or Power Automate
• Exposure to software delivery environments (product, engineering, QA)
• Awareness of secure development and data-handling expectations
• Experience driving modernization or AI adoption within delivery teams
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
