Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and proactive IT Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will own and monitor end-to-end development, testing, QA, and IT operations processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and reliability. This position is ideal for someone who brings technical knowledge and agile expertise, with a hands-on approach to managing and enhancing both IT operations, incident management, and development processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the functionality, availability, and performance of in-house software solutions across demo, test, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to validate functionality in demo and test environments prior to production.
  • Manage the incident ticketing process, tooling, and reporting.
  • Develop, track, and report on operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Support smooth releases and updates through efficient change management, ensuring minimal impact to end users and other stakeholders.
  • Manage the release testing, write test cases, own test automation process and tools.
  • Be the contact person for business stakeholders in relation to demo environment preparation for demos.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in IT operations or system administration. Knowledge of the Scrum Master or Agile Project Management roles is a plus.
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of recent overall project management experience
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI) is a plus.


 

Required Skills, experience, & Competencies

  • Understanding of, and experience in, IT incident resolution processes, testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • General conceptual understanding of Development processes
  • Experience with software monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban; experience with agile software tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of DevOps principles is a plus.
