In this role, you will take ownership of installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network switches and overall infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include deploying and configuring network switches at on-site locations, conducting site surveys, documenting network setups, and diagnosing and resolving any network faults that arise. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient network operations across all assigned sites.

Your role & influence as Network Engineer

Responsibility: You will be given responsibility for ensuring the reliable deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network switches and related infrastructure, delivering well-documented and fully operational network solutions to customers.

Collaboration: Together with your team, you take care of the high-quality installation and maintenance of network switches and infrastructure, ensuring seamless customer operations. You'll work closely not only with your immediate team members but also with project managers, design teams, and commissioning departments.

Core Activities

  • Install and configure network switches and related infrastructure following project specifications and best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to maintain stable and reliable operations
  • Conduct site surveys and produce accurate documentation, including network configurations and test reports

Additionally, It's Important That You Have

  • Experience in installing and configuring network switches (Cisco)
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking fundamentals and network infrastructure
  • Ability to read and understand network topology drawings
  • Driver’s license and a car
  • Proficient in Finnish and English for clear on-site and team communication
  • Nice to have: Network certifications, for example CCNA
