Head of Data & AI

We have partnered with a growing FinTech as they continue to scale their data and AI capabilities across the region. This is a newly created role to lead the Data & AI function, shaping strategy, delivery, and adoption across the organisation.

About the role:

The Head of Data & AI will define and implement the companies' data and AI roadmap, ensuring data integrity, analytics maturity, and the integration of AI across key business areas. This includes building scalable data platforms, leading data science initiatives, and partnering with technology and business teams to drive value from data.

You'll lead a cross-functional team covering data engineering, data science, and analytics, with a focus on enabling decision intelligence, predictive modelling, and GenAI applications that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

About you:

You will have a strong background in data leadership within banking or fintech, with proven experience building data strategies, platforms, and teams. You bring a mix of technical depth and commercial understanding, and have delivered measurable impact through AI and machine learning initiatives.

Experience working with modern cloud-based data stacks (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) and analytics platforms is essential. Previous exposure to regulatory data governance within financial services will be an advantage.
