Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the user experience of OICM, our cutting-edge cluster management platform for AI and other internal platforms. OICM enables data scientists, engineers, and enterprises to orchestrate machine learning operations (MLOps) and to optimize their AI infrastructure, all from one intuitive interface. You’ll work closely with product managers, engineers, and AI specialists to design a product that’s as powerful as it is, user friendly, turning technical complexity into delightful, impactful experiences

Key Responsibilities

• User-Centric Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma (and other tools) that simplify MLOps, cluster management, and resource allocation workflows.
• End-to-End Ownership: Lead the design process from research and ideation to final UI/UX deliverables, ensuring all interfaces are intuitive, visually engaging, and aligned with user needs.
• Collaboration: Partner with product managers to define feature requirements and with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible, advocating for the user at every step.
• User Research: Conduct usability testing, gather feedback from OICM users (e.g., AI practitioners, enterprise teams), and iterate designs to enhance functionality and satisfaction.
• Visual Systems: Develop and maintain a cohesive design system, think components, icons, and layouts that scales with OICM’s growth and reflects our brand.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle complex design challenges, including solving problems that are deeply technical, like visualizing cluster and node health or simplifying the interface for model inference.
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with MLOps and AI infrastructure trends to anticipate user needs and ensure OICM remains a leader in space

Qualifications

• Experience: More than 10 years of product design experience, ideally with SaaS platforms or developer tools. Bonus points if you’ve worked on AI, MLOps, or infrastructure products, but it’s not a must.
• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with AI/ML and DevOps concepts (you don’t need to have deep technical knowledge, but you should be able speak the language and understand high level concepts).
• Tools: Proficiency in design tools like Figma
