Network Engineer | 12-month Contract | Up to $62/hour incl. Super
We're seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a highly skilled technology team responsible for delivering and supporting enterprise network environments. This role is hands-on and strategic, with exposure to modern network technologies including SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and hybrid infrastructure while working across a complex global network footprint.
About the Role
You will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimising network operations across LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-connected environments. You'll ensure secure, high-availability connectivity while contributing to modernisation initiatives and next-generation network solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks to maintain secure, reliable connectivity
- Deliver and support SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and hybrid network solutions
- Administer and improve enterprise networks (6,000+ devices across 550+ circuits)
- Lead incident management and advanced troubleshooting across LAN, WAN, and cloud environments
Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with Cisco networking, Meraki wireless, Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN, and load balancers
- Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid network connectivity
- Knowledge of DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), NTP, and VPN technologies
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
