DAO Expert

About The Role

We are looking for a DAO Expert with strong experience in designing, implementing, and managing decentralized governance structures (DAOs). The ideal candidate combines technical understanding with strategic thinking and hands-on experience working within Web3 ecosystems.

This role is critical for developing and optimizing governance models, community participation mechanisms, and operational processes that enable a transparent and efficient DAO.

Responsibilities

• Advice on the design, implement, and optimize decentralized governance models.
• Develop and document decision-making processes, voting frameworks, delegation models, and participation guidelines.
• Review proposals, coordinate on-chain/off-chain voting, and ensure proper execution according to established rules.
• Manage DAO platforms and tools (e.g., Snapshot, Tally, Aragon, Boardroom, Gnosis Safe).
• Collaborate with product, legal, tech, and community teams to ensure alignment with regulations, strategic goals, and roadmap.
• Monitor key DAO KPIs: participation, quorum, engagement, treasury status, proposal execution, etc.
• Prepare regular reports on DAO performance, risks, opportunities, and improvement recommendations.
• Foster and lead community participation, ensuring clear and transparent communication.
• Stay updated on best practices and trends in decentralized governance, Web3, and emerging technologies.
  
  

Requirements

Hard Skills

• 3+ years of experience in DAOs, Web3, crypto, or decentralized governance.
• Hands-on experience with DAO tooling (Snapshot, Tally, Aragon, etc.).
• Technical understanding of smart contracts, governance tokens, treasuries, and voting mechanisms.
• Experience managing or engaging with Web3 communities.
• Ability to analyze on-chain data and use blockchain monitoring tools.
• Basic legal understanding related to DAOs (preferred).

• Strong communication skills and community-oriented mindset.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects.
• Strategic thinker with a problem-solving approach.
• Highly adaptable to fast-changing environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience launching or scaling a DAO from scratch.
• Solid knowledge of tokenomics.
• Background in DeFi, NFTs, or advanced Web3 initiatives.
• Active participation in leading DAOs (MakerDAO, Aave, Uniswap, Optimism, etc.).
• Experience with on-chain analytics tools (Dune, Nansen, Flipside, etc.).
