AML Specialist

Salary: 12.5 - 20.2 EUR/h gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience.

Location: Lithuania (remote)

Schedule: flexible, estimated up to 0.5 FTE (20 hours/week).

What You'll Be Doing

We are looking for an experienced AML Specialists to join our dynamic team with Swedish-licensed payment institution. In this role, you will support the internal Centrally Responsible AML Officer (CFA) with all operational AML/CFT activities. This role is part of the company’s strengthened governance framework as it prepares for expanded EU and Swedish regulatory requirements.

STR/SAR decisions remain with the internal CFA. All other operational AML/CFT tasks are included in this role.

How You'll Spend Your Day

• Perform CDD reviews, update customer profiles, and maintain risk classifications.
• Handle transaction monitoring alerts and conduct initial investigations.
• Prepare case summaries for escalation to the internal CFA.
• Maintain AML/CFT documentation, logs, and review files.
• Prepare the annual AML/CFT report.
• Update AML/CTF policies, procedures, and monitoring rules.
• Provide AML advice to internal teams and support training materials.
  
  

You'll be successful if you have

• 2-4+ years of AML/CFT experience in financial services, payments, or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of EU AML frameworks and/or Swedish regulatory requirements.
• Practical experience with CDD, transaction monitoring, and investigations.
• Strong analytical skills, documentation accuracy, and independent work style.
• Comfortable working remotely with senior stakeholders.
