Tech Lead – Platform Tools (Atlassian Stack & DevOps)

Job Type - Contract ( 6 months to start with)

Location - Eindhoven , Netherlands ( Weekly 3days Onsite is mandate)

Role Overview -

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead to lead our Platform Tools team, with a strong focus on managing and optimizing the Atlassian tool stack (primarily, Jira, Bitbucket, and Bamboo). The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in DevOps practices, containerization, cloud migration, and automation, along with strong leadership and communication skills to drive team performance and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities -

· Lead the Platform Tools team, owning and managing Atlassian tools stack (Bamboo, Jira, Bitbucket).

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

· Ensure best practices in design, implementation, and operations.

· Collaborate with System, Infra, CoreIT, and Engineering teams to assess business value of proposed features.

· Work with the PO to communicate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

· Administer, tune, maintain, upgrade, and enhance Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira.

· Create and migrate build plans in Bamboo.

· Integrate Atlassian tools with other systems, API’s and plugins.

· Deploy applications using Docker on Kubernetes clusters.

· Migrate applications from on-premise to cloud/Kubernetes platforms.

· Install and manage Bamboo applications on servers, containers, and Kubernetes clusters.

· Maintain application health and server performance using Grafana and Splunk.

· Automate operational tasks using Ansible and CI/CD toolsets.

· Implement preventive actions based on monitoring insights.

· Deliver in ITIL, Configuration Management, DevOps, and Agile environments.

· Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
