I’m helping GoGloby find a top candidate to join their team full-time for the role of Senior iOS Engineer.


You'll drive end-to-end iOS development while mentoring teams and shaping high-impact mobile solutions.


Compensation:

USD 70K - 80K/year

What makes you a strong candidate:

  • You have +6 years experience in iOS development.
  • You are proficient in Unit testing, UIKit, TestFlight, Test-driven development, SwiftUI, Swift, Software development.
  • English - Conversational


Responsibilities and more:

Requirements


- 6+ years building and deploying iOS apps (Swift, Objective-C)

- Experience deploying apps on the Apple App Store and TestFlight

- Expertise in implementing new features, refactoring, and best practices (e.g., DRY, SOLID)

- Experienced in multithreaded programming, unit testing, and writing testable code

- Proficient with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and Git

- Strong problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous improvement

- Passionate about mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews

- Good communication skills

- Committed to delivering on promises and results


Nice to Have ➕


- Proficient in SwiftUI, UIKit, Pods/Shared Libraries, and advanced Swift paradigms

- Familiar with test-driven development (TDD) and Objective-C language

- Experience collaborating with agile software delivery teams

- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent experience


The Senior iOS Mobile Engineer will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle for both new application creation and ongoing system maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to:


- Gathering and documenting requirements

- Estimating requirements

- Software development

- Writing automated unit tests

- Deploying software

- Conducting software demonstrations


- Creating system documentation

- Participating in daily stand-ups

- Attending retrospectives

- Mentoring and pairing with other developers

- Prototyping solutions
