A leading global commodities OTC & brokerage firm is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer with strong FX business knowledge to join on a contract basis. This role sits at the intersection of technology, risk, and trading, supporting front-office–aligned functions within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality systems solutions across FX trading and risk workflows
- Work closely with brokers, traders, and risk teams to understand business requirements and implement robust technical solutions
- Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of key trading and risk platforms
- Integrate and optimise the use of internal and third-party libraries
- Support risk reporting systems and processes using C#
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep business context and hands-on experience in FX (essential)
- Classic systems solutions developer skillset, comfortable working across the full development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of and ability to work effectively with libraries (internal and external)
- Proven C# development experience, specifically within risk reporting or risk systems
- Experience working in trading, brokerage, or OTC environments is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with front-office stakeholders
