Contract FX .NET Developer - £600/day - OUTSIDE IR35 - Global Commodity OTC & Brokerage Firm - London

A leading global commodities OTC & brokerage firm is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Developer with strong FX business knowledge to join on a contract basis. This role sits at the intersection of technology, risk, and trading, supporting front-office–aligned functions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality systems solutions across FX trading and risk workflows
• Work closely with brokers, traders, and risk teams to understand business requirements and implement robust technical solutions
• Contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of key trading and risk platforms
• Integrate and optimise the use of internal and third-party libraries
• Support risk reporting systems and processes using C#

Required Skills & Experience

• Deep business context and hands-on experience in FX (essential)
• Classic systems solutions developer skillset, comfortable working across the full development lifecycle
• Strong understanding of and ability to work effectively with libraries (internal and external)
• Proven C# development experience, specifically within risk reporting or risk systems
• Experience working in trading, brokerage, or OTC environments is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with front-office stakeholders
