What Responsibilities Cyber Security Specialist Takes?

● Monitoring, detecting, responding to, and managing cybersecurity incidents.

● Evaluating alerts and notifications received from cyber threat intelligence platforms.

● Managing, maintaining, and optimizing SIEM tools.

● Creating rules, reports, dashboards, trend analyses, and use cases on SIEM/SOAR products to detect emerging threats and attack patterns.

● Analyzing threat information from logs, IPS/IDS, EDR, DLP, threat intelligence reports, and other security data sources, and contributing to process improvements.

● Ensuring logs from all security products and internal sources are properly collected by SIEM systems, and troubleshooting related issues.

● Prioritizing, categorizing, and escalating incoming alerts and incidents.

What BtcTurk | Teknoloji Expect from You?

● 2–5 years of experience in security monitoring, incident analysis, and incident response.

● Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and products (SIEM, SOAR, Firewall, WAF, IPS, DLP, AV, Sandbox, VPN, etc.).

● Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, network technologies, and the OSI reference model.

● Knowledge of log management, attack detection, and log analysis.

● Understanding of cyber threat intelligence.

● Knowledge of malware analysis and threat intelligence processes.

● Experience in cybersecurity operations.

● Knowledge of SIEM deployment, configuration, and operation.

● Familiarity with EDR, antivirus, and SOAR solutions.

● Understanding of syslog, HTTP, Sysmon, and database log formats.

● Preferably experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.).

● Knowledge of client and server operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux, etc.).

● Preferably holds CEH or other relevant security certifications.

● Fluent in English.
