Location: New York ny (Onsite)
Job description:
Required: 12+ years (with extensive experience in agile delivery and team leadership)
As a Level 3 Scrum Master, you will serve as a senior agile leader responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding multiple Scrum teams and stakeholders across large-scale programs. You will play a key role in driving agile transformation, improving delivery velocity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies across multiple teams and programs
- Act as a servant leader and agile coach to Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders
- Identify and remove organizational impediments to agile adoption and delivery
- Drive agile maturity assessments and improvement plans across departments
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers, Program Managers, and Portfolio Leads in scaled agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
- Track and report agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, team health) to leadership
- Champion agile best practices and lead workshops, training sessions, and retrospectives
- Support enterprise-level agile transformation initiatives and change management
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience in IT, with at least 8 years as a Scrum Master
- Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Expertise in agile tools like Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps, Confluence
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Certifications: Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), PMI-ACP, or equivalent
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in financial services, healthcare, or technology sectors
- Background in software engineering or product management
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native delivery models
