Senior Full Stack Engineer

Salary Range €70-75K, 15% Annual Bonus, Excellent Benefits

Tech Stack: Angular, Java, Spring Boot, AWS.

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our client’s Galway team, building out cutting-edge digital platforms used by millions. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work across the full stack, with Angular on the front end and Java/Spring Boot on the back end, shaping both the codebase and the engineering culture.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and delivering high-quality, maintainable software in an Agile environment
• Building responsive front-end applications in Angular and robust back-end services in Java Spring Boot
• Driving automation in build, test, and deployment pipelines on AWS and Kubernetes
• Contributing to API test automation frameworks in Java and embedding quality into everything shipped
• Collaborating closely with distributed teams, participating in code reviews, and providing technical leadership
• Occasionally providing L3 support to ensure platform reliability

What we’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Engineer with deep hands-on Angular and Java/Spring Boot expertise
• Strong exposure to AWS, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with REST API test automation in Java (RestAssured, JUnit, or similar)
• A track record of delivering in Agile/Scrum teams, ideally in a complex or regulated domain
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset
