AWS DevOps Engineer

• AWS DevOps Engineer (8-Month Initial Contract)
• Location: Melbourne, 2 days a week onsite, 3 days remote working
• Enterprise level AWS and DevOps rollout
• $800-900 a day depending on experience

NOTE: This role is only suitable for people with either Australian Permanent Residency, or Australian Citizen, and the ability to work 2 days a week onsite in Melbournes CBD.

Nuage has partnered with an exciting enterprise within the finance sector. We are looking to secure 2 experienced AWS DevOps / AWS Infrastructure Engineers to join the clients team on an 8-month initial contract. This role will focus on driving the provisioning of Terraform and delivering repeatable, automated deployment solutions. The successful candidate will bring expertise in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, application deployment, and containerized orchestration, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation.

About the role:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using Terraform to ensure repeatable, automated deployments.
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance application packaging and deployment strategies on AWS.
• Monitor and optimize system performance using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
• Deploy, configure, and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS or Kubernetes.

About you:

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a primary focus on AWS environments.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch.
• Strong skills in packaging and deploying applications in AWS environments.
• Commercial experience working with Amazon EKS or Kubernetes, including hands-on management of containerised workloads.
