Key responsibilities

• Designing, implementing and managing data communication networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
• Developing and maintaining network architecture and technical roadmaps that align with business needs and industry standards;
• Leading projects related to network expansion, upgrades or migrations to ensure they are completed on time and within scope;
• Implementing automation tools to streamline network configurations and monitoring tasks;
• Collaborating with IT infrastructure and development teams to deliver network and infrastructure projects efficiently, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and timelines;
• Supporting IT or business sponsored projects to ensure they meet networking and security requirements;
• Communicating complex network concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Maintaining detailed network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, ensuring they are up to date;
• Acting as 2nd level support for troubleshooting network related end-user issues and resolving them in a timely manner.

Desired skills and experience

• Technical University degree;
• 5+ years work experience;
• Proficient in both verbal and written English;
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn, with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic;
• Good communicator, able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Appreciates change controls and has the ability to follow defined procedures;
• Forward-thinking and keen to make suggestions on ways to drive forward the organization's security services;
• Flexible and adaptable, able to provide solutions to security challenges in a changing environment;
• Good time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on installation, configuration, troubleshooting experience with Cisco end-user and DC switches and routers;
• Experience internal and external routing protocols, VPN setup;
• Familiarity of wireless infrastructure components;
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools, scripting, monitoring;
• Vendor management for networking infrastructure;
• Familiarity with on premise or cloud-based telephony infrastructure and related call-center solutions.
