About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Storage Engineer based in Poland to join our team and contribute to building innovative, resilient, and high-performance data storage solutions.
What You'll Do
- Perform various types of manual testing, including functionality, regression, system, performance, load, and stress testing.
- Analyze test results with a strong focus on issues and bug identification, contributing directly to product development and improvement.
- Create and maintain test documentation such as test plans, checklists, and reports.
- Assign tasks related to automated test implementation, monitor their execution, and investigate the root causes of failures.
- Experience with VMware vSphere deployment and administration.
- Experience with backup systems.
- Administration of network storage systems (SAN/NAS).
- Advanced Linux user (Ubuntu Server preferred).
- Skills in writing and using Bash/PowerShell scripts.
- Understanding RAID array operations.
- Knowledge of client-server architecture (Web UI frontend & backend).
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot software errors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
- Conversational Ukrainian or similar Slavonic language is a plus.
- Administration-level knowledge of mdadm and XFS.
- Experience with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam Backup & Replication).
- Hands-on experience with Python and PyTest.
- Familiarity with Amazon S3 and AWS CLI.
- Skills in virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V and KVM.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins).
