Senior React Developer

SII is looking for a Senior React Developer to support the ongoing Agile and digital transformation of a leading business bank in Belgium. You will contribute to the development of enterprise-level digital platforms used daily by professional clients through web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern frontend applications using React
• Contribute to backend services using Java and Spring
• Translate functional requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions
• Build reusable, high-performance, and reliable components
• Work closely with multidisciplinary team members to deliver new features
• Integrate external APIs and data sources
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Apply development best practices such as clean code, testing, and refactoring
• Identify technical bottlenecks and efficiently resolve bugs
• Contribute to both development and operational activities

Requirements

• +8 years of experience in software development
• Strong experience working in Agile and Scrum environments
• Good command of English (French or Dutch is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of clean code principles and SOLID design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Comfortable with pair programming
• Deep understanding of core JavaScript
• Proven experience with React
• Strong knowledge of Git
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library
• Backend experience with Java, Spring, Maven, and databases is a plus
