Job Title: Senior QA Engineer (OSS / BSS)
Job Location: Helsinki, Finland
Job Type : Permanent
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Define and implement test automation strategy for transformation programs
- Drive low-code/no-code automation (Mabl) and/or traditional frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, API automation)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for test environment services
- Ensure automation coverage, defect leakage reduction, and adherence to quality KPIs
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
- Must have experience in QA roles, with at least 3 years focused on telecom BSS/OSS solutions.
- Strong understanding of telecom business processes (billing, provisioning, mediation, customer management, etc.).
- Proficiency in QA methodologies, software testing life cycle, and defect management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
- Familiarity with API testing, web services (REST/SOAP), and database validation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities.
Good to have:
- Knowledge of telecom protocols (e.g., SS7, Diameter, SIP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization.
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools.
