 Senior PHP Developer

We are a leading back-office solution provider for Fintech companies, specializing in brokerage-related solutions. Our copy-trading service has been running successfully for over 10 years, serving traders across multiple platforms. We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join our core backend team to maintain, optimize, and continuously improve the system’s performance, stability, and scalability.

Your Role:

In this role, you’ll be a key part of the team responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining our payment processing infrastructure. You’ll work closely with product managers, QA, and other engineers to ensure smooth payment flows, handle complex integrations with payment gateways and acquirers, and troubleshoot any payment-related issues.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize payment-related backend services in PHP.
• Integrate third-party payment gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods (APMs).
• Investigate and resolve payment issues in collaboration with support and operations teams.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code.
• Monitor and improve payment performance, availability, and error handling.
• Contribute to architecture and process improvements to keep our payment systems robust and scalable.

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid experience with PHP ( PHP 8+) 4+ years.
• Strong understanding of at least one major PHP framework (e.g., Symfony).
• Hands-on experience integrating payment gateways is a big plus.
• Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and transaction monitoring.
• Good SQL skills (MySQL).
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting high-volume transaction environments.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
• Previous experience working with support teams.
