VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking an Expert DevOps Engineer to work from the European Commission.

The role:

The objectives of the Assignment are the following:

Responsible for maintaining the ION WSS Platform, managing Azure DevOps pipelines, and providing infrastructure support. Duties

include monitoring systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring performance and security. Requires strong troubleshooting skills,

knowledge of Windows/Linux environments to keep critical platforms stable and efficient.

The successful achievement of the objectives of the Assignment involves the following tasks:

● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

● Support the build/validation/deployment/release processes

● Basic system administration of unix systems

● Generating reports of results of the pipeline execution

● Support root cause analysis of various issues that may occur in the development or the production environment.

You have:

MandatoryQualifications

[Bachelor/Master] degree in Computer Science or other relevant field.

In the absence of a Bachelor/ Master degree in the relevant field, demonstrated equivalent professional experience of at least 10 years can be accepted

Mandatory Experience:

10 years of experience in the field of Support/System/DevOps Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

Solid Azure DevOps knowledge

Excellent Unix usage experience

Knowledge of the Java programming language, its runtime envirinment

Good understanding of Relational DBs (SQL) and stored procedure
