DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role
We are in search of a talented Data Analyst to join our Global IT team. In this role, you will interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and develop and implement data analyses and data collection systems. Your core mission will be to optimize statistical efficiency and quality. You will champion data-driven decision-making and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities. This position is created in the context of an IT transformation, including a move to agile practices.
Responsibilities
Technical Lead (40%):
- Participate in strategic planning discussions to align Data & Analytics initiatives with the organization's business goals.
- Ensure alignment between technical and non-technical aspects of the business.
- Bridge communication between business & IT Organization
- Analyzes large amounts of data using analytical, statistical, and programming skills.
- Translate complex data into actionable information that informs business strategies and decisions.
- End-to-end design and implementation of advance analytics tools (from Business requirements to move the tool into production)
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of data presented in these visualizations.
Educational Background
- University degree in Economics, Computer science or related is a must
- Master's degree is a plus
- At least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or related
- Advance skills in PowerBI are a must
- Advance programming skills in SQL
- Intermediate knowledge in Python or R
- Experience in automatization libraries (such us Selenium) is a plus
- Intermediate knowledge in Azure cloud ecosystem is a plus
- Knowledge in Databricks
- Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa.
- Collaboration: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
- Multi-tasking: Ability to manage different request in parallel
- Role based either in Spain (Madrid / Barcelona) or Poland (Krakow / Warsaw).
- Able to work remotely several days per week with occasional travel as needed.
- English is a must-have, and an additional (European) language is a plus.
- Work permit allowing work in Spain or Poland.
