Missions
- Manage business as usual security activities: incident response, phishing/spam analysis, user support, and vulnerability remediation follow-up.
- Lead and support initiatives in vulnerability management, penetration testing, secure code assessment, and threat intelligence.
- Provide guidance on Microsoft 365 and Azure security best practices.
- Produce reports from key security services (SOC alerts, web filtering, vulnerability scans, patching, incidents).
- Contribute to cybersecurity governance: risk management, policy updates, audit documentation, and compliance alignment (NIST CSF, Essential Eight).
- Support business continuity, disaster recovery planning, and cybersecurity exercises.
- Develop or enhance security requirements, test plans, and documentation.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and minutes when required.
- Approx. 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security operations, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of technical cybersecurity concepts, common attack vectors, and defensive tools.
- Good knowledge of general security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, etc.).
- Knowledge of Microsoft's security ecosystem; recent hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure security tools is a plus.
- Experience with vulnerability management, incident handling, and threat analysis.
- Understanding of industry security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO standards, Essential Eight).
- Project management certifications such as PM2, Prince2, PMI are an asset.
- Strong “can-do” attitude, proactive and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
- Excellent coordination and follow-up skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical capabilities for threat assessment, documentation review, and report analysis.
- Eagerness to learn new tools or concepts as needed.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Well-organised, able to prepare meetings, agendas, and clear minutes.
