Your new role

As a Senior Software Engineer (Mobile), you'll play a key role in building and delivering high-quality mobile applications to market. You'll work across both backend (Node.js) and frontend (React.js, TypeScript) components of the product, while taking ownership of mobile development using React Native and Expo. This role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to create secure, preformant, and scalable solutions. You'll also guide and mentor team members on mobile best practices and contribute to improving the overall codebase.



What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience delivering mobile apps for Android (Google Play) and iOS (Apple Store)
• Expertise in React Native, React, and Expo
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and MongoDB
• Experience writing automated tests (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
• Proficiency with Git and core web concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Ability to diagnose and prevent performance issues
• Excellent communication skills for remote, asynchronous work
• A positive, solution-oriented mindset and strong organisational skills
• Comfort working in an agile, iterative development environment
• Experience in tech startups or peak performance organisations
• Familiarity with competitive video games (e.g., Fortnite, DotA2, League of Legends)
• Exposure to enterprise software or developer tools
• Contributions to open-source projects
