Role: Test Automation Engineer for UNI

Type of Hiring: Fixed Term employment

Project Duration - 12 Months

Working Model: Hybrid (2/3 Day WFO)

Role Description

• Design develop and implement automated test cases occasionally perform manual testing
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks to support scalable and reusable test execution
• Verify and evaluate test results identifying and reporting defects clearly and efficiently
• Contribute to team ceremonies eg standups planning retrospectives and collaborate closely with developers and QA team members
• Advise on best testing practices improving test coverage and automation strategy
• Apply basic knowledge of card payments including issuing and acquiring authorization flows to relevant testing scenarios

Skills Experience

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle SDLC and ability to think critically beyond specifications

• Experience with automated test execution bug analysis and reporting
• Endtoend testing experience in RESTful architectures
• Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as Cucumber SPOCK GitBitbucket Maven and microservices environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain and justify test logic and design decisions
• Thorough documentation skills
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Fluent English communication skills
