Job Opportunity: Senior Java Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust solutions within our banking ecosystem. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure high-quality code, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our applications and processes.

Location: Cracow, hybrid model (office visits 2 times per week)

English: B2/C1

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java (Spring) applications for banking services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and support deployment and monitoring in production.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Write clear and concise technical documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional Java development experience (Java 8 and above).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, IBM MQ) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS (EKS, Lambda), GCP, or Azure.
