Senior Devops Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Senior professional with 10-12 years of experience in both development and devops.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (version 8 and above), demonstrating proficiency in object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Ensure coding standards are followed in the project.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc., using AWS SDKs for both Java and Python.
• Good to know about AWS CDK.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Spring Batch and Spring Integration frameworks for building scalable and efficient applications.
• Hands-on experience in Python development, particularly for AWS Lambda functions, demonstrating the ability to leverage Python in serverless architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and ability to contribute to Low-Level Design (LLD) for complex systems.
• Demonstrated mentorship skills, guiding, and mentoring junior team members to foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.
• Code review of the team members.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Managing team and successfully delivering the project.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop, test, and deploy CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, optimizing build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, including the setup, configuration, and scaling of containerized applications.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or other relevant scripting tools.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and deployments.
• Implement security best practices and compliance controls across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
