Role Purpose:
oversee countermeasure systems in coordination with stakeholders, and to review, interpret, and extracts data and other information in order to verify and update threats of Drones / UAV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess the quality of products or services to ensure they meet specified standards and specifications.
- Follow up with the countermeasure operators and police stations regarding any unauthorized drone violation.
- Track and record current and new Drones / UAV systems to update detection system platforms.
- Acquire and develop knowledge with the various theaters of operation and the types and operations of Drones / UAV.
- Carry out site surveys and testing new Drone Countermeasure systems to ensure it meets performance standards.
- Conduct inspections and monitoring of all experiment’s activities related to UAV certification process.
- Maintain logs and records of countermeasure operation and equipment condition and work performed
- Assist in developing and establishing procedures and guidelines for daily operations of drone / UAV systems.
- Stay current with advancements in UAV technology, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance operational capabilities. And participate in research and development activities to improve the existing system.
- coordinate with other government entities and suppliers to facilitate countermeasure operation in emirates of Dubai.
- Ensure compliance with non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements, as well as DCAA security policies, to safeguard both government and DCAA confidential information. Address and rectify any ISR audit findings, promptly report security incidents, and engage in ongoing security awareness training to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the line manager.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in (Electronic / Telecommunication/ Computer Science) Engineer or equivalent.
Certifications:
- Relevant certification is preferred.
- Data mining certification
- Networking certification
- Artificial intelligence certification
- (0-1) relevant experience in IT end-user and network support.
- Knowledge in Networking, System architecture and organization.
- Knowledge in Vulnerability and patch management.
- Knowledge and experience in development of Technical Manuals.
- Fluent in Arabic and English (reading and writing)
