Web Developer (PHP & JavaScript)

Mid or Senior | £35–50k | Nottingham (3 days in office)

Ever joined a “creative agency” and ended up patching the same tired templates?

This isn’t that.

You will be working with a ~20-person digital agency in Nottingham that builds proper bespoke products for well-known clients (including The FA).

No off-the-shelf themes. No chaos. Time to do things properly.

What you’ll actually be doing

You’ll work across Laravel, WordPress and modern front-end builds, including React and Next.js on headless projects.

You’ll:

• Build and ship features end-to-end

• Improve systems already used by thousands

• Work with PMs who plan properly (daily stand-ups + a full planning day every Friday)

• Have a genuine say in how things are built as the team grows

The stack

• PHP 8, WordPress, Laravel

• JavaScript (ES6+), Tailwind

• React / Next.js (Vue also in the mix)

• Git (GitHub / Bitbucket)

Next.js and headless experience is a real nice-to-have, not a tick-box.

Salary & setup

Open to Mid or Senior:

• Mid: £34–40k

• Senior: £40–50k

• 40 days off a year (holiday + bank holidays + Christmas closure)

• Pension, sick pay, latest kit

• Hybrid: 3 days in the Nottingham office, 2 remote

• Fridays are the in-office planning day
