About The Role
Vasion is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Web Designer to join our creative team. This pivotal role involves leading the design and development of visually stunning, user-centric websites that align with business goals and user needs. As a Lead Web Designer, you will be responsible for guiding the entire design process from initial concept through to implementation, ensuring high-quality deliverables that enhance user engagement and conversion rates. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, marketers, content creators, and stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative and functional web experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about data-driven design, stays current with industry trends, and has a proven track record of creating compelling digital interfaces. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional experience in web design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical skills
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Experience with creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries in Figma
- Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret website data, heatmaps, and analytics to inform design decisions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in SaaS or software industry is a plus
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of engaging, user-friendly websites from initial idea to final launch
- Analyze user data, heatmaps, and website analytics to optimize user experience and improve conversion rates
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive digital experiences
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance design quality
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering professional growth
- Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to refine and iterate on designs
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliverables
