Useful Information

• This is a 7-month full-time Work Placement Internship (40 hours/week), conducted in person in Amsterdam.
• You need to be legally authorised to work in the Netherlands for the duration of the full period of the internship.
• A flat-rate allowance of €900 per month will be provided as a contribution towards living expenses.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview or test and informed of the selection outcome.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and AI specialists, to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our AI-driven educational platform.
• Utilise prompt engineering techniques and AI tooling to accelerate the design process and your output.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas effectively using AI tooling.
• Use AI-powered design tools and platforms to generate design assets and components efficiently.
• Develop and refine AI prompts to produce desired design outcomes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
• Implement design standards and guidelines to ensure consistency across the platform.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, AI technologies, and industry best practices.

Experience

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and its capabilities to enhance productivity in coding tasks (e.g. FigGPT, Builder.io, etc.).
• Experience with AI design tools and familiarity with prompt engineering concepts.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills and creative problem-solving.
• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications.
• A basic understanding of programming languages like JavaScript or Python is a plus.
• Knowledge of user-centred design principles and best practices.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for AI, education, and improving user experiences.
