MEP Project Manager

Mane are looking for an experienced MEP Project Manager to join their client, a client who builds the Energy systems for Data Centers to join them on their exciting projects.

You will need to have experience with generators to be successful for this role.

Project Location: Groningen, Netherlands 🇳🇱

Experience: Background in Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, or Semi-Conductor industries is a plus.

Requirements: Must hold an EU passport or equivalent work authorization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring project delivery meets set timelines and budget constraints.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress to achieve milestones.
• Coordinate resources, including workforce, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to align engineering activities with project goals.
• Conduct regular project meetings to update stakeholders, address issues, and facilitate decision-making.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices across the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive management strategies.
• Prepare and present progress reports for senior management and clients.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and introduce best practices to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience managing engineering projects, ideally within the energy or power sectors.
• Advanced expertise in project management, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
• Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and relevant industry standards.
• Proficiency in project management software and related tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement across all levels.
