PROJECT CONTROLS LEAD/MANGER
📍 Luleå, Sweden | 🏭 Greenfield Manufacturing Project
We are supporting a start-up organization delivering a $150M USD greenfield manufacturing project in Luleå and are seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead / Manager to play a critical role in establishing and implementing project controls processes from the ground up.
This is a high-impact position suited to someone comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving project environment where structure, governance, and controls need to be built not inherited.
- Project Value: ~$150M USD
- Project Type: Greenfield Manufacturing
- Start Date: 19th January
- On-site Requirement: 2–3 days per week (non-negotiable)
Role Overview
As Project Controls Lead / Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all project controls functions, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and with clear governance and reporting.
You will work closely with senior project leadership, engineering, construction, and commercial teams to embed robust controls across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement project controls systems, processes, and procedures
- Develop and manage integrated project schedules and cost forecasts
- Implement progress measurement and reporting frameworks
- Lead cost control, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support change control, risk management, and mitigation strategies
- Produce clear, accurate reporting for senior stakeholders
- Act as the central point of contact for all project controls activities
- Support a start-up environment by driving structure, discipline, and best practice
