Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity, latency, and security issues
- Implement network security policies, firewall rules, and access controls
- Manage IP addressing, VLANs, routing protocols, and switching
- Perform network upgrades, patches, and capacity planning
- Document network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
- Collaborate with system, security, and cloud teams
- Provide L2/L3 network support and incident resolution
- Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT
- Experience with routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, STP)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar vendors
- Firewall experience (FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.)
- Network troubleshooting and performance analysis skills
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)
