The challenge

Every brand we onboard brings:

• a different architecture

• unique data models

• its own content and translation flows

• different security and performance maturity

Your job: bring structure to this complexity and elevate the core platform.

You design patterns for:

• multi tenancy

• translations and localisation

• performance and stability

• AI assisted development and testing

What you’ll do

• Build and improve backend features in our Laravel modern monolith

• Apply AI daily for test scaffolding, log analysis and faster delivery

• Create scalable patterns for tenancy, translations and content flows

• Write clean, well tested code using PHPUnit, Pest and Playwright

• Collaborate with Product and QA for smooth, predictable releases

• Support migrations for 3 to 4 brands per year

• Mentor peers and contribute to our AI first engineering playbook

What you bring

• 7 plus years engineering experience, including strong Laravel expertise

• Deep understanding of PHP 8.x, SOLID, Clean Code and API design

• Strong MySQL performance tuning and experience with Redis, queues and events

• Comfortable owning features end to end in a large codebase

• Pragmatic with AI tools and able to improve team workflows

• Fluent English or Dutch
