At ReduCate, senior engineers shape the backbone of a multi-tenant SaaS platform used by millions of regulated professionals across Europe.

You’ll work on a modern Laravel monolith, onboard multiple acquired brands each year and use AI daily to improve quality, speed and reliability. This is not feature factory work. This is platform engineering.

The challenge

Every new brand introduces complexity:

• different architectures

• inconsistent data models

• custom content and translation flows

• varying levels of security and performance maturity

Your role is to bring structure, predictability and quality to the core platform.

You help define patterns for:

• multi-tenancy

• translations and localisation

• performance and stability

• AI-assisted development and testing

What you’ll do

• Build and improve backend features in a large Laravel monolith

• Use AI daily for test scaffolding, log analysis and faster delivery

• Design scalable patterns for tenancy, content and localisation

• Write clean, well-tested code using PHPUnit, Pest and Playwright

• Work closely with Product and QA to ensure predictable releases

• Support the migration of 3 to 4 brands per year

• Mentor peers and contribute to our AI-first engineering playbook

What you bring

• 7+ years of software engineering experience

• Strong Laravel expertise and deep PHP 8.x knowledge

• Solid understanding of SOLID, Clean Code and API design

• Experience with MySQL performance tuning, Redis, queues and events

• Comfortable owning features end to end in a large codebase

• Pragmatic with AI tools and able to improve team workflows

• Fluent in English or Dutch
