Android Developer

About role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Android Developer with at least 5 years of experience, passionate about building high-quality, reliable mobile applications. The ideal candidate will take ownership of developing, testing, and maintaining Android apps, ensuring code quality through best practices, unit testing, and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications according to product requirements and design specifications.
• Write clean, testable, and scalable code following Android best practices.
• Integrate with APIs and external services.
• Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize app performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to process improvements.

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Android development experience.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Coroutines and modern Android architectures (MVVM, MVP, etc.).
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD processes.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with reactive architecture (RxJava, Flow).
• Knowledge of Firebase, REST APIs, or GraphQL integration.
• Experience with UI test automation.
