As a SQL Server Developer, your responsibilities will include:

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance existing system functionality to support evolving business needs.
• Maintain and support the existing system and solution, ensuring stability and reliability.
• Optimize critical SQL queries and procedures.
• Maintain indexing/statistics strategy.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DWH engineers.
• Establish good practices: standards, reviews, monitoring, documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in OLTP / transactional environments.
• Strong T-SQL skills: DDL/DML, CTEs, window functions, set-based approach.
• Hands-on with stored procedures, functions, views, including refactoring and versioning.
• Solid understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking, and deadlocks.
• Experience working with high-concurrency workloads, including tempdb considerations and temporary objects.
• OLTP data modeling: normalization, keys, constraints, referential integrity.
• Comfortable with GitHub and code reviews.

• Capable of effectively collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, understanding their needs, and explaining technical solutions in business-friendly terms.
• Able to work independently and proactively drive tasks to completion
