- Works closely with Engineering teams and colleagues, helping them build product features based on AI / ML models.
- Acts solution-driven in the creation of feature / solutions within the team
- Contributes to the definition of code and ML quality standards and ensures consistent tracking.
- Recommends new / emerging technologies and best practices, looking for ways to enhance product / project effectiveness and strengthen overall AI / ML processes.
- Keeps up to date with advanced technologies looking for ways to adapt and apply within Unisys.
- Leads design discussions regarding key elements of new and existing AI / ML services.
- Holds accountability for assigned project or sub-projects.
- Connects AI / ML technology with Unisys and clients’ business goals to solve real-life problems.
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering/machine learning projects
- 2+ years experience implementing LLM-based (or similar) solutions in production
- Experience working with Python and its machine learning libraries
- Experience working with Spark or other distributed computations framework
- Experience mentoring other Machine Learning team members
- Algorithm, data / ml pipeline and data structure knowledge
- Ability to grasp new technologies very quickly
- Ability to work effectively and independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally in English
