Wireless Mobile Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wireless Mobile Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Wireless GUL Mobile technologies and network optimization. As a Wireless Mobile Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Wireless GUL Mobile network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Planning & Design: Develop and optimize wireless GSM network designs, ensuring coverage, capacity, and quality for mobile communications.
• Implementation & Deployment: Assist in the deployment and configuration of Mobile Network GUL equipment, including base stations, controllers, and other related hardware.
• Network Optimization: Perform network performance monitoring and optimization to enhance network quality, throughput, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Wireless GUL network performance, interference, and service degradation.
• Testing & Validation: Conduct testing and validation of GUL Mobile network equipment and software upgrades to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Collaboration: Work with other engineers, customers, vendors, and departments to ensure network efficiency and meet project deadlines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network configurations, updates, and changes. Prepare reports on network performance and project progress.
• Research & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in wireless communication technologies and provide insights on new trends and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in Wireless Mobile network engineering and mobile communication systems.
• Strong knowledge of wireless technologies (GSM, UMTS, LTE, etc.).
• Solid understanding of network architecture, protocols, and standards (e.g., 3GPP).
• Proficient in troubleshooting network issues and optimizing signal strength and quality.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with LTE and 5G technologies.
• Knowledge of other wireless communication standards.
• Familiarity with IP network protocols and TCP-IP knowledge.
