IT Technical Project Manager

We currently have a vacancy for an IT Technical Project Manager fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your Tasks:

• Project Management activities:
• Financial planning & budgeting;
• Stakeholder management;
• Prepare roadmamps;
• Collaboration with developers;
• Team management;
• Assistance in Project & Stakeholder Management;
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the Project Team;
• Reporting & presentations.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 13 years of relevant working experience in Project Management;
• Technical background involving software development projects including tools/methodologies such as Java, Angular, Web services;
• Experience in Project Managements methodologies (Prince2, Agile etc);
• Specific expertise in Agile toolbox (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture,Balsamiq, etc);
• Ability to understand business needs and to discuss solutions with customers;
• Knowledge in project management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Performance Tracking);
• Knowledge in producing Business Cases, Project Initiation Documentation or Project Charters describing the project justification, budgetary constraints, scope and etc.;
• Experience working with EU legislations and extracting requirements from legal documents will be considered an asset;
• Knowledge of ITIL and good understanding of IT Service Management will be considered an asset;
• Knowledge of UML and BPMN will be considered an asset;
• The following certifications will be considered as assets: PM2-Agile certification, Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Foundation / Practitioner, PM2 certified – Level 1, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I or PSM I and II), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), AWS Certified Solutions Architect;
• Excellent command of the English language.
