A leading cloud and IT infrastructure company is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support a high-profile environment. This hands-on role focuses on designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud environments while providing some networking support.
The successful candidate will work onsite alongside the client’s technical team to ensure operational stability, security, and long-term performance of the cloud infrastructure.
The AWS Cloud Engineer will manage AWS cloud instances, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPCs, and security groups, ensuring performance, availability, and security. They will support basic networking tasks, such as configuring VPCs, routing, and firewall/security group rules. The role includes troubleshooting cloud and network issues, maintaining technical documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet operational and compliance standards.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure management.
- Basic networking knowledge (VPCs, routing, security groups, firewalls).
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with good communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in enterprise cloud or managed service environments, familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks, and flexibility to work occasional off-hours or participate in on-call rotations
This is an initial 2 year contract which opportunity to extend, 2/3 days onsite in Madrid per week. Must speak fluent Spanish.
