Role Overview: As a Back-end Software Engineer, you’ll drive development and modernisation of our platforms, ensuring our Advisory and self-service solutions operate smoothly and reliably. The ideal candidate is curious and eager to engage with new technologies and responsibilities but also willing to challenge and improve existing solutions and processes. You should be open to experiment and learn as well as adapting into a transformative environment.

Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

You will:
- Work on strategic initiatives supporting Danica’s business strategy
- Monitor performance and implement enhancements for efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with the IT Architecture team to align with overall IT strategy
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures
- Participate in incident, problem, change, and release management activities
- Engage in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives
- Share knowledge in regular tech talks and learning sessions
- Influence the direction of our products and solutions
- At least 3 years of experience with back-end development technologies like C#/.NET or Java, experience working with Object-oriented programming or relational databases
- Experience with distributed computing and docker/Kubernetes is considered as an advantage
- Proven ability to write unit tests, which are essential for the role
- Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline
- Open to adapting to changes in technologies, tasks, and acquiring new skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex technical challenges
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills in team-focused environments
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Upper-Intermediate English skills
Monthly salary range from 4480 EUR to 6720 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
