Tech Lead

As a Tech Lead, you shape and drive the technical direction of enterprise-wide data products. You operate at area level, translating product vision and business strategy into scalable, future-proof technical solutions.

You combine technical leadership with architectural oversight. You guide teams, challenge design choices, and ensure data products are reliable, reusable, consumer-centric, and scalable. Working closely with area leadership and architects, you act as a key sparring partner for solution architects, engineers, and senior stakeholders.

The area delivers core enterprise data products used across multiple business domains. These products are built with strong product thinking, focusing on consumer value, time to market, cost efficiency, and quality. A key challenge is shaping the future direction of the enterprise data product portfolio while balancing business needs, usability, and technical scalability.

• Define and safeguard the technical direction of enterprise data products

• Align architecture, engineering, and product strategy at area level

• Coach and mentor solution architects and senior engineers

• Ensure data products are scalable, reusable, and consumer-centric

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear guidance for business and IT stakeholders

• Contribute to architecture strategy, roadmaps, and design decisions

• Collaborate with architects and the wider architecture community

• 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in architecture or senior technical leadership

• Strong experience with data-as-a-product in complex data environments

• Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence senior engineers and architects

• Strong strategic overview with attention to business and IT impact

• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical solutions in business terms
