We are looking for an Amazing: MID-LEVEL AI ENGINEER

Seniority: 3 to 5 years of experience

Type of position: Hybrid (Porto, Portugal)

The amazing you will have:

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, or Software Engineer with a strong AI focus.
• Solid experience with Python, including data processing and analysis using Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions.
• Practical experience in the design and development of AI Agents, including conversational agents and multi-agent systems.
• Experience integrating AI models via APIs (e.g., OpenAI or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, agent workflows, and orchestration patterns.
• Experience deploying AI solutions to production environments.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, Git-based version control, and CI/CD fundamentals.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) for communication with international stakeholders.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, with regular presence at the Porto office.

To turn yourself from amazing to unique, you’ll have (plus):

• Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar.
• Hands-on experience building chatbots, virtual assistants, or voice-enabled agents.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, and scalability of AI systems.
• Experience with Azure AI services, Azure ML, or cloud-native AI architectures.
• Relevant certifications in AI, Machine Learning, or Cloud (Azure).
