DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer who excels in fast-paced environments, embraces automation, and takes full ownership of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud deployment processes.

Working for Global Bank, we require established experience across Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Security with demonstrable experience with .Net.

There is significant potential to learn more, given its global infrastructure, and a real opportunity to take on responsibility and impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimise shell scripts to enhance CI/CD workflows
• Facilitate efficient application deployment using OpenShift automation scripts
• Manage and improve development tools, including build systems, IDEs, and container environments
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure adherence to best practices and comprehensive documentation
• Engineer and fine-tune tools related to logging, ETL, API management, and NoSQL databases
• Perform application sizing analysis to ensure optimal performance and scalability
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis to maintain system resilience and reliability

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in DevSecOps
• Proficient with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes (OpenShift experience preferred), containerization, and shell scripting
• Development experience, ideally with Microsoft .NET, and familiarity with technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or API management platforms
• Ability to analyse complex system environments with a comprehensive, holistic approach
